The Polls Giveth and the Polls Taketh Away

Only a day after I was celebrating some upbeat polling data for McCain, a new poll has come out showing Big Mac tied with Obama in Indiana, a state that should be safely Republican. While I'm pretty sure that Indiana will stay red this cycle, it looks like McCain may have to spend some money shoring up this would-be base state.

I hate to be pedantic - actually, that's a lie, I rather enjoy being pedantic - but there's a bit of a grammar error in your title. But in archaic English, the suffix "-th" is used only in the third person singular, and is used in precisely the way that the suffix "-s" is used in modern English. Thus, your title reads "The Polls Gives and the Pols Takes Away". Even in archaic English, you would say simply "The Polls Give and the Polls Take Away".
